Singapore Airlines last back in April announced (read more here and here) status extension for KrisFlyer elite and PPS members, and later extended miles (read more here).

Singapore Airlines has now further extended miles expiry through December 2020 and also extends miles expiry for the second time for some (myself included).

You can access the Singapore Airlines page for COVID-19 here.

KrisFlyer miles expire 36 months later after they were earned/deposited to your account. You can extend expiring miles once for six months for a modest payment (I have done this).

Singapore Airlines will now extend miles that are expiring in April, May, June, July, and August by six months.

Conclusion

The best course of action, in my opinion, would have been to extend all miles expiring in 2020 by a minimum of 12 months.

I have found KrisFlyer miles to be useful for Singapore Airlines’ flights but not so for Star Alliance ones due to terrible booking interface and pricing.
